Join Pack 350 to celebrate the birthday of scouting at our Blue & Gold Banquet! The entire family is invited for an evening of food and entertainment on Saturday February 26th from 5-7PM in the Arborlawn gym (same place as pinewood derby). The event is free but requires that you register by Friday February 11th so that we have an accurate count for food. BSA Troop 17 will serve a lasagna dinner, and each family is encouraged to bring their favorite dessert to share on our potluck dessert table.
What is the Blue & Gold Banquet?
The Blue and Gold banquet is the most exciting event on the Cub Scout calendar! It is the birthday celebration of Cub Scouting. The banquet is held in February, as this is the anniversary month of the Boy Scouts of America. The Boy Scouts of America began on February 8, 1910 and Cub Scouting began twenty years later. The BLUE AND GOLD gets its name from the Cub Scout colors -- blue and gold. This is an evening for fellowship that is not to be missed!
