There are some really great awards/honors your scout can earn outside of den meetings. Two of them are the Supernova, which focuses on STEM learning, and the religious emblem, which focuses on your family's specific faith. One thing that is really cool about the religious emblem is that your scout will also get a purple and white knot patch that can be work on their uniform as they advance to Scouts BSA (f.k.a. - Boy Scouts) and even as an adult leader down the road.
