Note: All pinewood derby workshops are optional. We will not have regular den meetings during the below dates. Feel free to work on your car on your own if you choose.
Pinewood Derby Build Workshop #1 - Tuesday January 18th
Note: This event has limited availability and will be organized into timeslots in order to manage attendance at a residential location.
You must sign up for a timeslot through the sign-up genius link to attend. Each timeslot is available on a by family basis (if you have more than one race participant, you only need to sign up for one timeslot). You will receive a follow up email prior to the event with location details and further instruction.
There will be 30 minute windows of availability from 6:30 – 8:30 PM.
This workshop will focus on cutting and shaping your car. If your car is already cut out, you do not need to sign up for this workshop.
Bandsaw and operator will be present to make the cuts.
Pinewood Derby Build Workshop #2 – Saturday January 22nd
This event is open to all and is organized as a come and go event (no sign up required).
This workshop will focus on finishing and decorating your car and setting your wheels.
We will meet in the Arborlawn SAM building parking lot from 3 to 5 PM.
