Bobcat Rank

If your child is new to Cub Scouts and is a first grader or older, the first rank that your child will earn is the Bobcat rank.  This rank teaches the basics of scouting.  Please work with your child to practice/repeat the items below.  Additionally please complete the “Pamphlet Exercises” with your child on how to protect your children from child abuse.  Once you have completed these items, let your den leader know and they can sign off your child on this.  Normally the Bobcat rank is earned/awarded within the first month or two of joining Cub Scouts.
