Pinewood Derby Build Workshop Instead of Meetings this Week!

Note: All pinewood derby workshops are optional. We will not have regular den meetings on Tuesday, January 17th. Feel free to work on your car on your own if you choose.

Who – all scouts, siblings, and adults – anyone who wants help to build and enter a car to race is welcome to join us!

What – Bring your pinewood derby car kit and we will help to cut, shape, and paint your car. Scouts will be painting and decorating cars, uniforms are not required and clothing that can get dirty is preferred.

Where – The Averett Family Home, 6112 Whitman Ave, Fort Worth TX

Event will be held outside on the driveway, please plan for cooler weather

When – Tuesday 1/17 – times split according to rank

i. 6:30-7:15 – Lions, Tigers, and Wolves

ii. 7:15 – 8:00 – Bears, Webelos, AOLs

iii. If you have multiple scouts that are in both times, you can attend either time

iv. Non-scout siblings can attend at the same time as their scout sibling

Why – to build cool cars for some awesome racing!

If you cannot make the build workshop, we will have a makeup workshop the following week on 1/24 at 6:30 outside the Arborlawn SAM building
