Popcorn Fundraiser - It's time to get started if you haven't - here's how, den competitions

So far it looks like the Webelos AOL den is in the lead on popcorn sales, but still waiting to hear from some of our dens. Which den leader will be wearing the popcorn "crown" at the pack meeting on 10/5????

9/17/21 Update:

Den popcorn sales competition - please bring an estimate of your scout's total sales to our weekly meetings to provide to your den leader. The den with the highest average total sales per scout will be able to proudly demonstrate that at the following week's meeting with their den leader wearing a large and ridiculous looking popcorn crown!

Additional incentive for big sellers - if your scout sells at least $2,500 of popcorn, besides choice of some great prizes and Amazon gift card and of course pack dues reimbursement (if >=$600 in sales), your scout will now also be eligible to have all pack activity fees for the scout year reimbursed (fall campout, spring campout, Lexington overnighter) as well.

Remember - order forms and money are due back October 12th, so get selling now!

It is that time again, welcome to the start of our scouting year! With the start of our year comes what? POPCORN! We are ready to have a another wonderful year so let's kick it off right. This year BSA has changed popcorn vendors, so let me hit some key points. The Pack and Council still benefits from this fundraiser just like we did before, with that being said scouts that sell $600 in popcorn will be eligible for a refund of their pack dues!

There are three ways to sell popcorn;

  1. in person to those you know locally through a paper order form. You can pick up your paper order form at any of our upcoming events/meetings

  2. in person at one of our storefront show and sell opportunities. Show and sells are set to start September 11th, please signup for a shift through our signup genius link

  3. Online to those family and friends that are not local or just folks you don't want to mess with taking their order, collecting the money and delivering the popcorn (the popcorn ships directly to them!). Online links have been set up and you should have received an email from on Tuesday (8/17) with a link for your scout. Just follow the directions in that email to finish setting up. If you did not receive a link, please email the pack and we'll set you up

Prizes: All scouts that sell just one item will receive this year's patch. Aside from that like the recent years there are tiers at which scouts will earn an Amazon gift card; the more they sell, the bigger the Amazon gift card. New this year is the winners circle for our big sellers. In addition to Amazon gift cards, at the $2500 mark the scout can choose from a select list of awesome prizes like zipine kit, Switch Lite, a TV, and more. Each time the scout reaches this tier they get a new prize.

Other things to note:

  • When your scout sells popcorn with the paper order form, they need to collect the money up front. If it's a check, it should be made out to "Cub Scout Pack 350"

  • Order forms and money are due at our den meetings on Tuesday October 12th

  • We expect to distribute the popcorn to the scouts in early November and then the scouts deliver to their customers on their paper order forms
